Roman Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Port of Spain.

On the Independence Square, 2 blocks south of Woodford Square we visited the Roman Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Port of Spain. It was built on the shore-line in 1832 but since pushed back by the land reclamation. Behind the cathedral is Columbus Square, with a brightly painted statue statue of the island's European discoverer. Really nice places to walk and visit.
